Calculating my Budget… am I missing something?
I know that I shouldnt be displaying my numbers in public, but i’ll do it just this one time for educational purposes. This is still a very general base budget that I created on excel to give me a rough estimate on how much I will be looking to spend throughout the next 4 months and year. I pretty much listed out all the possible expenses that I thought of and put them on a spreadsheet.
Just as a reminder, I decided that I would reevaluate my business venture here in the Philippines after 4 months and then I would see whether I would continue then. I tried to come up with the best figures and calculated how much it would cost me to live out here on a month to month basis. After calculating the totals of the first 4 months, I came out with the figure $25,725. Thats how I came up with my Case Study: Making $25,000 in 4 Months.
side note:
Cost of Flight - $3500 once every two months because I will be flying home every month or two.
Rent - I rented a condo in Makati (financial district) already, comes out to around $1250 incl HOA
Food - $900 incl drinks and I love to eat
Computers - $1000 i just noticed that its a misprint and instead should be $2500
Staff - $1500 should be enough to support a team of 3-4 people
